These are a favorite holiday treat. Aunt Eva would bring these to most family events.

Serves not enough:

• 1c. sugar
• 1c light corn syrup
• 1c peanut butter
• 6c. kelloggs rice krispies
• 1 6oz nestles semi-sweet chocolate morsels
• 1 6 oz. butterscotch morsels

Combine sugar and syrup in 3 quart sauce pan. Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and mix well. Add rice krispies. Stir until well blended. Press mixture into buttered 13. x 9 pan.

Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels together over hot but not boiling water, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat, spread evenly over rice krispie mixture. Cool until firm and cut into bars. Yield 48 bars. 2 x 1 in.

This is another family favorite. Very popular around the holidays, or birthdays. Memere would make this for nearly every family event, even went as far a sending me home with them a few times in college. It's simple to make, and quite tasty. 

Makes 1 Pie:

• 1 Graham cracker Crust (Maybe I'll find a homemade recipe to link to later)
• 1 package cream cheese
• 1 14 oz can sweetned condensed milk
• 1/3 c. Lemon Juice
• 1t vanilla extract
• 1 can (21oz)cherry pie filling

With mixer beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in milk until smooth. Stir in lemon juice.

Pour into Crust, chill 4hrs or until set.

Top with pie filling before serving.
